Come hear Veronika Scott speak as part of our I Heart SAC Week. Touching on the Community Engagement pillar of our Public Affairs mission, Veronika Scott is an entrepreneur who developed an idea to address homelessness in Detroit by creating the non-profit organization, The Empowerment Plan. In 2013, Scott was named one of Crain’s Detroit Business “Twenty in their 20s." In 2015, Veronika was recognized and designated as a CNN Hero. Veronika will discuss how to transform a class project into a successful and sustainable business idea while helping communities overcome hurdles.
