
International prize-winner Danilo Mezzadri teaches flute at the University of Southern Mississippi and at festivals in Brazil, Europe and the U.S. Mezzadri is described as having “glowing, golden tone” and “vivid musicality bringing each work to life, regardless of tonality” (Fanfare Magazine). He has been a soloist with more than 35 ensembles worldwide. He is currently principal flute with Gulf Coast and North Mississippi Symphony orchestras. He earned a B.M. from School of Music and Arts of Paraná (Brazil), and his M.M. and D.M.A. degrees from Michigan State University.
