Public Affairs Conference: Johnny Cash and the Road to Redemption

Michael Streissguth, filmmaker and nationally known writer (and panelist for the Public Affairs Conference) will show an excerpt from his  film, Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison, examining the roots of Johnny Cash, his music and career and his impact on the American prison system.  Dr. Micki Pulleyking, will also be presenting on Johnny Cash as a theologian and will explore his contributions to theopoetics by focusing on his poetry and songwriting.  This event was created by the Religious Studies Club and is free and open to the public.
