Hunger Banquet

Join fellow students for this popular annual MSU event. Each participant will be part of an experience that will give them both local and global perspectives to the deep injustices of our world’s food system. Attendees will deepen their perspectives and acquire actionable ideas on how they can be a part of the solution.

Where Will You Sit?  

Based on the latest world statistics of the number of people living in poverty, guests are randomly assigned various identities, circumstances and income levels. Guests around the table will experience a proportional meal based on their assigned identity. Discussions will debrief the feelings and interactions of the banquet program.
